PGP ENCRYPTION

Trust Mathematics, Not Humans. The Shield Against Phishing.

Why PGP is Mandatory on TorZon

In the clearweb world, you rely on SSL certificates (the green lock icon) to verify a site. On the darknet, SSL Authorities do not exist. Instead, we use PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) to sign our messages and addresses.

Every valid torzon market link rotates periodically to avoid DDoS attacks. When you land on a new mirror, how do you know it's ours? You check the signed message found on the login page against the Public Key listed below. If the signature matches, the site is genuine. If it fails, you are on a phishing site designed to steal your coins.

Official Market Public Key

Import this block into your GPG Keychain, Kleopatra, or Tails PGP tool. Never trust a key sent to you via private message.

-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK----- Version: GnuPG v2.2.4 (GNU/Linux) mQINBFx/7kBEAC... (PLACEHOLDER: COPY REAL KEY FROM MARKET) ... ...THIS IS A DEMO BLOCK FOR STRUCTURE... ...ALWAYS VERIFY THE FINGERPRINT... ...49A2 33F1 99B0 C21E... =7zX9 -----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----

Setting Up 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly encourage enabling PGP 2FA immediately after registration.

  1. Go to your Account Settings on the torzon official site.
  2. Paste your personal PGP Public Key into your profile.
  3. Enable the "2FA Login" checkbox.
  4. On next login, the site will present a message encrypted with your key. You must decrypt it to reveal the one-time access code.

This makes your account impossible to hack via password theft alone. Even if a phisher gets your password via a fake torzon url, they cannot access your funds without your private key.
